Bibles Delivered to Refugee Camps in Southeast Asia
A new distribution initiative brings thousands of Bibles to displaced families in refugee camps across Thailand, Myanmar, and Malaysia.
TT Bible has completed a major distribution initiative delivering over 15,000 Bibles to refugee camps across Southeast Asia. The project, which took six months to coordinate, reached displaced communities in Thailand, Myanmar border regions, and Malaysia.
Many families in these camps have lost everything — their homes, their possessions, and their sense of stability. For them, receiving a Bible is more than just getting a book; it is a source of hope and a reminder that they are not forgotten.
"When we handed out the first Bibles, people wept," reported one of our distribution partners on the ground. "They held the Bibles to their chests like treasure. Some said it was the first time they felt peace in months."
The initiative also included Scripture reading groups and prayer meetings within the camps, fostering community and spiritual support among residents. Local church volunteers led these sessions, providing pastoral care alongside the physical Bibles.
TT Bible plans to expand this program to additional camps in the region, with a goal of reaching 50,000 displaced individuals by the end of 2026.
